Portsmouth, NH

FLYING

Portsmouth is about an hour from 3 airports:  Boston's Logan Airport, Manchester Airport (NH) and the Portland Jetport (ME).  Driving directions from the airports are listed below.

Southwest Airlines  is often the best option for cheap flights to Manchester.

DRIVING

From Points South and Logan Airport:
Upon leaving the airport, follow signs to Rt 1 North and 95 North. Once on 95, it's 40 miles to the New Hampshire border and a few more to Exit 7 for downtown Portsmouth.  From the off ramp, a right turn on Market St will take you into the center of town. The church is located at the intersection of Market St and Congress St.

From the Portland area:

Take the Maine Turnpike (95 S) all the way to the New Hampshire border.  Upon crossing the Piscataqua River bridge, take the first exit (Exit 7). From the off ramp, a right turn on Market St will take you into the center of town. The church is located on the Market St and Congress St intersection. Exit 7 will lead  you to downtown Portsmouth.  From the off ramp, a right turn on Market St will take you into the center of town. The church is located at the intersection of Market St and Congress St.

From Northern New York:
There are many ways to cross Vermont and New Hampshire.  All drivers should take Rt 11 to the Vermont border, crossing into Vermont at Rouses Point on Rt 2, which becomes Rt 78 in Vermont.  Those that prefer highways, take 89 S past Burlington to 93 S towards Manchester.   Near Concord, merge onto 93 S.   Take Exit 7 to Rt 101 E and follow this for 31 miles to 95 N.  Exit 7 will lead  you to downtown Portsmouth.  From the off ramp, a right turn on Market St will take you into the center of town. The church is located at the intersection of Market St and Congress St.

From Manchester Airport:
Leaving the airport on the access road, take a right on Brown Ave.  After 3/4 of a mile, take the ramp to 101 E / 293 S.  Stay on 101 E; it will merge with 93 N for about 2 miles. Once it diverges, take 101 E 31 miles to 95 N.  Another Exit 7 will lead  you to downtown Portsmouth.  From the off ramp, a right turn on Market St will take you into the center of town. The church is located at the intersection of Market St and Congress St.

BUSES
C & J Trailways  runs from downtown Boston and Logan Airport to the Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth.  Greyhound runs to downtown Portsmouth.  Keep in mind that most of the hotels are at least a mile from these bus stops, so you may need to arrange a ride from the bus stop to your hotel.
